Capt. Tracy Lyon on a 7'4" x 44" x 6.5" sled built in 1996.

"I have tried other boards on the market and this one has proven to be the most adaptable to our conditions (i.e. rivers, smooth water, flood water, saltwater). It is maneuverable, stable, functional, and comfortable for rescuers and victims. I was impressed with the hitch's durable assembly. I would recommend this EXTRACTOR sled above all the others which I have seen on the market."

"We have used personal watercraft in surf rescue applications since 1991. Since then we have used 5 different model sleds in rescue work or in hauling debris and lobster traps out of our waterways. The EXTRACTOR has been the most user-friendly, fully functional sled we have used. It floats well, it is stable, it connects and disconnects more quickly than the rope or cable attachments we have used in the past. It performs well with the personal watercraft in large or small surf. I'll buy stock on this one!!!"

"I am an ex-Air Force rescue swimmer and have been teaching water rescue since 1997, formally. I am a Rescue3 International instructor for swift water as I have been to 6 R-3 courses, 3 K-38 courses and 1 COSAR that Ernie Ojeda taught. Next April, I will have my last PWC rescue course from R-3 to teach PWC rescue for them. I do teach monthly PWC and swift water for Pierce county and Thurston County Sheriffs and Fire departments for the PSORT. I have been using your board since, I think '99, and it is tough as nails. I used to surf alot in Japan and I have done one ding repair to the board from a rock encounter, but its still kickin' ass. I have also, through the course of instruction, used the Wahoo board (too unstable and sits too high in the water for unconcious victims), from High Surf, and a Junkin plastic stretcher(the last resort, but usable- COSAR and R-3 teach this method). I really think your board with PWC connection is the best."
