ATTACHMENT OPTIONS :

Basic Tie Down Version with nylon webbing/Rope Rigging/bungee cords/bumper (Similar to Standard Connection offered by bodyboard sleds) , Utilizes universal, convenient 3-point hookup to all makes and models of pwcs. The attachments are non-invasive as they are already molded into the sled as holes for rigging. These attachment points will not fail as they go through the entire hull and spread the load evenly across the surface. Bodyboard sleds have proven to fail at the attachment points due to anchor points located within the cores of their sleds. The core materials are weaker than the forces imposed on them in extreme situations, so the anchor hardware/ fiberglass stringers or metal rods, holding the fastening points to the sled, tear out, leaving the sled beyond repair. Rope/nylon webbing and stainless spring clips are used and attached to the center main holes in the sled for the center attachment point to the pwc; bungee cords and stainless spring clips are attached to the outboard holes in the sled hull for the other 2 attachment points. Rope and bungees are protected from fraying on the sled side by sleeving the rigging through clear pvc hose. U-bolts to be installed on pwc hull for mounting sled to the pwc are included ( All pwcs require these U-bolts installed on all tie down sleds for a proper 3-point hookup, as pwc manufacturers will not provide these proper attachment points on their craft from the factory for liability reasons). Direct Connect Version- Tie Down Version with Aluminum Plate/Pin/Shackle to U-Bolt Main Attachment/bumper
Utilizes universal, convenient 3-point hookup to most makes and models of pwcs. The attachments are non-invasive as they are already molded into the sled as holes and mold in threaded insert plates for rigging and mounting the direct connect aluminum nose plate to. These attachment points will not fail as they are molded into the hulll material as one unit, go through the entire hull and spread the load evenly across the surface. A shackle is used to connect to the pwc main U-bolt and to the pad eye tube attached to the sled nose plate for the center attachment point, bungee cords and carabineers are attached to the outboard holes in the sled hull for the other 2 attachment points. Rope and bungees are protected from fraying on the sled side by sleeving the rigging through clear pvc hose. U-bolts to be installed on pwc hull for mounting sled to the pwc are included ( All pwcs require these U-bolts installed on all tie down sleds for a proper 3-point hookup, as pwc manufacturers will not provide these proper attachment points on their craft from the factory for liability reasons). MILITARY DUTY QUICK HITCH VERSION –Military Duty
Most Durable, Most Stable, Least Wear and Tear on PWC transom and sled. A stainless steel hitch box and hitch bar mounts to the pwc using stainless steel hardware and urethane components. This system allows the sled to be mounted properly without having to have the nose of the sled on the pwc transom ( which has always posed a problem on sled utilization with a pwc for wear and tear on both the sled and the pwc. )
Quick Hitches are universal in most applications, but specific mounting plates need to be used for certain pwc makes and models. Quick Hitches come with a padded hitch boot covering to protect body parts from coming in contact with the hitch while sled is in use. Lifetime Warranty on welds from cracking.

Every pwc has a different hull design, different weight displacement, center of gravity, horsepower, towing capacity, handling characteristics, and wake output configuration. They are also used for different rescue applications, changing the dynamics of how the pwc handles in the particular application. For this reason Extractor custom manufactures and designs its sleds with dimensions, which are best suited for the make and model pwc being used, and for the application. Extractor's sled designs have been thoroughly time-tested using Key Human Factors Studies to determine the overall design and the materials that go into them.

All of our sled models can use the basic tie down, the intermediate tie-down/direct connect, or the military duty Quick Hitch versions. All Hand Crafted sled models (Elite, Mega, or Custom Design) will be made to use the attachment version as specified by the customer and is reflected in the product price. At this time, only the PRO model is made featuring all the necessary internal hardware or features for interchanging between attachment versions without modifications. This is our most versatile model for using the same sled in different applications and behind different pwc models. If the sled model of your choice is to be used behind different pwc models, the basic tie down or the intermediate tie down/direct connect version is recommended. Every different model pwc hull using requires a custom hitch configuration designed to attach properly to the rear transom area and allow the sled to perform its best!
