1. Divers and
Speafishermen can easily transport all of your scuba and
dive gear, anchor, and tackle.
2. With this sled
you can easily double or triple your fuel range. Transport
more than 40+ gallons of extra fuel. Enough for loaded
pwcs with Extractor Conquest Utility Sleds to travel approximately
250 miles. We average 4.5 mi/gallon with a pwc towing
nearly 800lbs (175lb sled plus gear). Example: Our Yamaha
FX pwcs average 5.5 mi/gallon without a sled. Average
speed= 38 knots.
We regularly
use the Extractor Conquest for long range camping trips,
day runs to nearby islands, and deep sea rod and reel
or spearfishing trips 30+ miles offshore. Faster than
most boats at a fraction of the operational costs.
3. Racks to secure
your spearguns and fishing rods.
4.
Through Holes in the stern serve as mooring and tie-off
points, fishing rod holders, and even make a great location
to mount your portable stainless steel gas grill. Perfect,
for satisfying those hunger pains after a surf session,
morning dive, or long ride.
5.
Our patented hardmount securely connects the Extractor
Conquest Utility Sled to the pwc. The mount features a
triangulated mounting base, providing a stout attachment
point, a quick connect/disconnect pin, and a molded plastic
cover to keep sharp metal objects out of harms way.
6. The bow of
the sled features a stable deck area for standing, or
mounting ice chests and other gear.
7. There are many
hardpoints along the rails for mounting multiple handles,
cargo tie down points, or fenders.
8. The center
of the deck features a recessed, self-bailing basin (patent
pending). The basin provides a lower center of gravity
for transportation of items on the sled. This area is
great for securing ice chests, dry bags loaded full of
gear, camping equipment, extra fuel cans, and other useful
containers. A modular plastic container (in development),
can drop into this section (also patent pending). This
multi-use container can be a fuel tank for refueling in
motion, it can be a container for stowing freshly caught
fish, it can have several hatch basins installed for stowing
fishing tackle and other gear. The deck of this container
can have racks mounted on it for spearguns, fishing rods,
gaffs, surfboards, wakeboards, kiteboards, or anything
else you might like to transport. This area also provides
room for a live bait tank! Cargo tracks help secure items
down.
9. The transom
of the sled has a step and grab handles for boarding the
sled (patent pending). With the high freeboard, mounting
the pwc or sled from the side can be difficult. This step
makes access to the deck of the sled and back onto the
pwc an easy task!
10.
The hull profile of the Extractor Conquest Utility Sled
has a patent pending gooseneck shaped bow. This feature
is important in the sled function. This clearance is needed
for avoiding contact with the pwc stern in waves or rough
seas. It also allows the main volume of the sled to maintain
contact with the water, and allows it to follow the pwc
at the same level plane.
11.
Transportation of the Extractor Conquest Utility sled on
the road can be handled a couple of ways. The sled can be
trasported on a roof rack above the vehicle, on one of the
bunks on a multi-pwc trailer ( we find this to be the easiest
for a one-man operation), or on a roof rack of a customized
trailer (see picture of example trailer below)
12.
Modular accessories are available. Or, like many of our
customers, with fabrication skills, you can create your
own. One example, is our floating surfboard rack. The
rack is completely made from ABS pipe, connections and
caps. The base is configured like skids on a helicopter
that rest on the deck of the sled over the recessed basin.
It is secured to the deck of the sled with bungee cords
and spring slips. The racks are padded with EVA and the
surfboards are secured to the racks with bungee cords.
This floating rack has lanyards secured to it so it can
be removed from the sled and anchored in the channel near
a surf break. Or, it can be secured alongside the Conquest
Utility Sled, and both can be disconnected from the pwc
and anchored in the channel.
Then, if you took your Extractor PRO model along, you
could use the pwc/sled for tow-surfing.
13. Don't forget
to take BIG JESUS with you. You just might need Him on
some of your adventures!
