The Extractor Rescue Sled was used for 3 weeks everyday in 20 foot plus conditions at this surf break in Tahiti.
During this time, the sled was utilized as a transportation device to take water photographer Tim McKenna and videographer J. McCoy into the thick of the action where they aquired these and other impressive images. The sled was used to rescue surfers who had fallen off their boards into the impact zone, and was used as a cargo platform to haul such things as the photographer's bodyboard and other equipment.
Below are some images aquired by Tim McKenna. This is what he had to say about the sled after using it: "You make great sleds . At least you know they have been tested in 20' teahupoo ! That should be a pretty good stamp of approval." Cheers, Tim
